Indian Institute Of Expertise Bombay (IITB)
Indian Institute of Expertise Bombay (IITB), on November 16, organised a one-day workshop for educators and professionals on tradition and heritage. The day-long programme was attended by 60 educators and educational researchers, from instructional establishments throughout Maharashtra. The workshop launched contributors to 2 tasks, the Indian Tradition Portal, and the Digital District Repository.
The Digital District Repository is a challenge spearheaded by the Ministry of Tradition, Authorities of India, and seeks to gather, report and digitise the lesser-known tales of the Freedom Wrestle, from each district in India. Each tasks convey collectively heritage and expertise and search to democratise and diversify the sector of tradition.
As per the discharge, the Indian tradition portal is managed by IIT Bombay, and funded by the Ministry of Tradition, Authorities of India. It was inaugurated in 2019 as a part of the Nationwide Digital Library of India. The portal hosts collections of museums, libraries and different cultural establishments from throughout India, in addition to a plethora of authentic content material, created by a group of researchers.
